My last diesel was a 96 Ford. I think it was a 7.3 that one left me broke and never wanting another Ford. I have drove Chevrolets since then. Two years ago I bought a 07 2500hd with a 6.0 gas. I pull a 10500 lb 5ver and it did a good job pulling but the wife was not happy with the lack of a back seat. I found a great deal on a 08 ext cab with Duramax last weekend. Had to drive 12 hours each way to get it but sleep is overated anyway. Don't really intend on any mods just pull the camper.
