I've been a chevy guy since I was a little kid. I have a 2003 z06 with about 600rwhp and have been looking to buy a duramax so I don't put so many miles on my car.
I found a pretty good deal locally recently. A 2005 White 4x4 Crewcab duramax that was used as a work truck with 117,000 miles on it for $12,888. Thoughts/opinions?
whats wrong with it, or is it just bare bones hand crank windows and all that bs?

Not sure yet, gonna check it out monday. I know there isn't a cd player and its a little rough from what I was told. Might be some dings and scratches in the paint since it was a work truck.

Yeah thats a pretty good deal..I know someone that traded their old dmax in and someone turn around and bought it for 9,000 and it had 200,000 and somethin on it...I mean it had everything on it...but make sure you check all around the truck pretty good because dealers tend to do some things and then don't do somethings they say they did..I know that because a buddy bought a used dodge for a farm truck and 2 weeks after he had it the tranny shelled on it...so just be careful if your bein serious bout buyin it...good luck to you...and if that ain't what your really lookin for then look around on truck trader, craigs list...those kinda thangs..sometimes you can find a good deal or someone just tryin to get ride of their old truck because they bought a new one or just can't afford it anymore...happy huntin!
