Hello from the Buckeye state

hi my name is Dan and i'm from East Central OH in Quaker City OH and i just wanted to say hi.i have a 04 GMC EXt Cab powerd by a LB7 and tuned by with PPE.
looking to do some tranny upgrades and i want some of you alls thoughts on it,i shooting for roughly 475-500RWHP and i want to go the least expensive route but still have it done right.

Welcome to the site. There are many tranny upgrades on the market and Suncoast, TTS, BD Power and ATS come to mind. I'd generally say a valvebody but you are talking 500hp so a stage 2 or 3 may have to be the route you want to go.

welcome to the forum Dan,i see you figured out how to post..if i may i'm gonna take some glory here,i was the one that did the stax and tuning in this truck and i tell you i love the sound of those stax.

k thnks guys i'll try to get some pics posted as soon as i can. how much horsepower will a valve body hold up too

I have a co-worker with a '01 running a Edge Juice with Attiltulde and your other basic mods and he uses a BD Power valvebody. Pretty straight forward install and he isn't easy on the truck. I suspect he is pushing near 400hp at the wheels based on his mods. The tranny has held up to the abuse.
