welcome to the site... I also came from a 2005 powerstrokes, didnt have any problems with it and I still got it, but with the Duramax your gonna make some great power for cheaper, and faster! looks like a nice truck I would just ask if maint. has been kept up on check all the fluids, smell the oil things like that

basicall like the Bd exhaust manifold or something of the sort, the stock one is slightly restricted which IMO is not a serious mod or one I would only do if i had the extra money but he replaced it with a milled one thats not restrictive, has he replaced the turbo mouthpiece... the ones for the LLY are also restrictive

he never mentioned it on the phone so im guessing not but i will ask him tommorow. i was just reading up on how great the afe mp works compared to stock.the guy seamed like a really stand up guy he is an oilfield consultant and has babied it and spared no cost even offered to put in a new windshield and fix the 1 small tear in the leather there was. it has has the edge juice w/ attitude but he leaves it on stock and just uses the gauges and engine protection.

yea guages are a plus, ask him about the mouth piece, it doesnt necessarily have to be a AFE mp, even a knewer LBZ mouthpiece which would require some modification to work, but it is only $80 compared to AFE bladerunner which is like $250 iirc

will do. he also said he had the egr block off done right off the bat aswell. so thats always nice not having to deal with all the soot.

yea the EGR blocker is nice since its installed, because it is a pain in the arse to do.... should keep your engine cleaner with less soot build up... and EFI live is not a canned tunner with a pre set tune, you should ask him what kind of tune is in it, since EFI live are custom tunes, either tuned by himself or a tuner, vendors on this site can also tune your truck
