I'm new to DF but not new to forums. I have owned my truck since it was new. I ordered it April 1, 2004 and took delivery May 17, 2004. It was built in the Pontiac truck plant here in Michigan. What lead me to buy a diesel truck was I had my ass handed to me by other diesel trucks. My truck before this was 2003 GMC 2500 6.0L gasser and I hated it since day one.
I used to work for Isuzu Motors, where all the warrentied duramax's would come in. I helped with several tear downs and saw first hand what programmers do.
The past couple of months I have been experiencing several problems with it. I have been reading for the past two days what could possibly be wrong but I havn't come to a conclusion yet.
I hope to gain knowledge by all of you and I have enjoyed the site so far.

Welcome to DF please elaborate on what you seen when tearing down these engines due to programers Also you obviously have much experience with the problem end of these engines so how about telling us about some of the things that you have seen and your thoughts in general about the isuzu engine.
