After a my "gasoline until i die" phase finally wore off I bought my first Duramax back in July, I was so happy with the pulling capacity taking my jetboat around this summer that never really paid attention to upgrades or mileage. I recently took a trip back to idaho and got about 22MPG and that got me thinking "If I can get this good stock, what can I get with aftermarket upgrades?". After a little aimless wandering around the net looking for information I ended up stumbling onto this little treasure trove of experience, knowledge, camraderie, kindness etc... I have been hooked ever since!
I am treading water as I get ready (save money) to moderately modify my 02 LB7. I can definately see how people describe diesel power as addicitng! Most of my past experience is with gasoline trucks, and building streetrods so this is a whole new ball game for me to learn and experience!
Looking forward to talking with you all and thanks in advance for the help!
