Tranny questions

HI!
I have a 2006 Duramax and i have concerns about the tranny. I have read other posts on the upgrades for it. But what exactly am i looking for. Is it a kit they sell or is it just a bunch of upgrade parts. Like torque converter and such. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

the kits that people speak of are just parts such as Torque Converter, clutches, shift kit, etc.....and you will have to find someone to install them. But there are different companies that sell different things....like 2 good ones to look at would be suncoast and ATS. There is a guy on here call IdahoRob......he seems to be a tranny guru.

Ok that what i figured. I was just looking for a kit you could buy but never saw one. Thanks for you input

Take a look at Suncoastconverters.com or ATS or TTSpowersystems.com They all sell kit's. They also give you the specific's of the kits aswell as the prices.

i have a Stage 5 Sun Coast Tranny and i'm very pleased with the performance.
