Talking New Guy

I just found this site, started lookin' through it and decided to join, wonderin' about chips, stackin' boxes on top of each other, or pretty much anything helpful

With the duramax most people don't recommend stacking boxes together. As far as tuners PPE, ATS E-power, and Diablo are all good. No matter which one you go with keep it under 90 hp on the stock tranny and get some guages to monitor boost and egt.

Welcome to the site.

I didn't notice a while ago, i just assumed you had the alli. From what i have heard the zf will take a lot of power once you get a good clutch.

RE:BigRedChevy

yea, that was what I have heard also, that the clutch would slip with the added power, but other than that it would do just fine

with the stock clutch don't add more then 50-60HP but after you do a double disk South Bend Clutch your good for lots of extra HP.
Programmers=PPE,ATS E-Power and the ultimate is EFILive and don't stack programmers and chips.

i should mention,to run the a programmer with 150HP to it's full potential you really need to do lift pumps.
some other stuf to think about-exhaust,CAI,Turbo boost vavle and most important gauges.
