New Dmax Driver!

Hey guys! I have a 2002 Duramax HD extended cab 2X4 auto, aka: "The Big Sexy!"... I got beat today by a stinkin ford so Im ready to make her faster! The only thing I have done to this truck is cut the muffler off and straight piped it 3" with a 5" tip and aftermarket tires and wheels. I need some opinions from some pple that know what they are talking about. What should I do to her next? Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the site! If you are ready to go faster, a programmer or chip will do that trick. There are mild to wild programmers on the market and the good thing is almost all are feature different stages of horsepower levels depending on how you want to use your truck.

Cheers,
James

Which Xcellerator is it do you know? There is the economy, standard and hot and there are some versions floating around that have been discontinued.

As far as intakes, everyone has their choice but I would pick a AEM Bruteforce or AFE Stage 2 if you want a intake.

Lol, nothing like being smoked by a "girl" in her truck.

I have no idea! Here is what it says...

"Hello, up for auction is a NEW PPE standard 225hp excelerator tuner for a 01-05 lb7 or lly duramax. This tuner removes the governor, changes speedo for larger tires, checks engine codes and has 5 tunes for economy, towing, performance and race. Manufacture date is June of 07 and has the backlit display for easy nite time use. Thanks for looking!!!

Cashiers check or money order payable to UNDERGROUND DIESEL PERFORMANCE, LLC a licensed business. NO TAX!! Thanks!!"

What do you think?

Ya, Its pretty funny seeing the look on their faces when I roll my window down and they see a pretty blonde! haha I guess I should say woman instead of girl since I just turned 21 huh?! Anyways, Thank yall for all the help!

Does he have a model number? It sounds like one of the discontinued models.

You need someone to ride shotgun in that truck with ya? I'd like to see their expression too when you roll down the window

What about this one? The only thing that worries me is that it is used and a little older...

"This is a used PPE HOT XCELERATOR for the 2001-2004 6.6L LB7 engine, I bought this programmer and used it over a year. I recently sold the truck with 180K miles on the truck and removed the program and returned everything back to stock. I used the first setting of the 4 it allows.

Level 1 - 130HP Level 2 - 160HP Level 3 - 200HP Level 4 - 300HP

This also includes the boost valve that came with this and all paper work to install and operate. This box works great and will do what it claims."
