Thanks for the inputs/ suggestions

I have narrowed it down to this 04 Chevy 2500 with the lb7 or an 06 Chevy 2500 with the lbz both leather and both ext cab short bed 4x4

If I found one that still had warranty (under 100000 miles) would the warranty still be usable in Canada or no???

The 04 now is around 20- 28 if I am correct and the 06- 07 classic is above that probably 25-35 or am I smoking the cheep stuff

Do you know if the 2004 truck has had the injectors replaced yet. And also if the 2004 truck is under 200,000 miles which it most likly is, then the injectors are still under warenty.

I was saying if I found a truck that had warranty and I bought it from the USA and brought it to Canada then would the warranty still be in effect in Canada?????

Which one's do not have the egr cooler or what ever thats called?? Is it just the lb7? If its on the lly and lbz are the a PIA? Are they causing puking or other problems???

As far as high idle goes is it for every duramax? (lb7 lly and lbz) I read somewhere that the high idle is obtained from the cruise control settings kind of like the cummins 03 and up... You push the accel button to increase idle and decel to decrease it... The reason I ask is because winters are somewhat cold here....

The LLY and LBZ have the egr stuff on them. They make a little plate that can be put in to block the flow of the exhaust gases in to the motor. Its really cheap and a good investment if you end up with one of those style motors. If you don't block it, its likley you won't notice anything different than if you did, but people say that their oil stays cleaner from the lack of soot recirculating in the motor. Also its good piece of mind if you were to block it.
