Welcome to the sight. I had the injectors replaced at about 100k because of hard starting. It would have cost me about $3000+ but since it was under warrenty it was only $100. Good luck with the buy.

16 inch Helo Rims and 285 Nitto Terra Grapplers
I bought my lbz used with 33 thousand on it. I love it but when i got it i wasnt even getting 16 on the highway. I got like 10.5 in town. I did a PPE airbox mod and superchips flashpaq and now im getting 14 in town and like 18 or 19 on the highway. I love it other than though. Getting the mileage that xrobx24s getting would be pretty nice.
(could be the 285s i put on thats hurtin the mileage.)
i'm getting 21-22MPG off my LBZ running 285-75R16 tires,you can see what all i did in my sig to achieve that...

wow guys thanks for all this info so what exactly does the lbz have the the lb7 doesnt? i would think the the lb7 would be better for getting more power without all that egr and particulate filter stuff
Most of the MPG is in the tune the tune I run everday is my race tune and I get 23MPG on the highway and I have a nother tune that makes less power that only gets 16MPG. It is all in the tuneing.

pysco hit it on the head it's all in the tuning...the LB7 for the most part does better on fuel economy but my LBZ has a great setup on it that gets good fuel econoy and lots of power..

NastyGirl is a LB7 Duramax..yes the 04.5 and newer have the EGR stuff but it can easily be by passed if thats what you want to do..

I love my LBZ I get anywhere between 19-22 on the highway and 15-17 in town. I am thinking of putting the 120 hp program on the truck but I need to upgrade the tranny first. It worked the same way More power= Better mileage

My LB7 had 45,000 on it when I bought it, and it had not benn taken very good care of, the clutch had to be replaced so I went witth a South Bend DD, and a few other things, it was pretty cheap too for an 03, I got it for $19,800, Total I have about $6000 in it other than the price, and I get 19.5 in town and 25.4 on the highway at an average of 70mph, and I have hauled some monster loads with it, to see a couple of pics go to: http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/k...s/100_0424.jpg
