yeah, there is some really good advice here, and it can be kind of hard to keep track of it all unless you have unlimited harddrive space and can save EVERY post that helps you...LOL

Thanks for the warm welcome from all. This seems alot like the fire service, one big "brotherhood !" My sig says that the motor is stock , but after getting on it pretty hard today I wonder if it may have been reprogrammed. It billowed a fair amount of black smoke thru 3rd gear ! I guess I could take it to the dealer and find out. Or if anyone knows of another way let me know.

i was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between the 2006 LLY, and the 2006 LBZ?

no difference other then the 06 LLY has a little les power then the LBZ in stock form but they use the same programmers and chips.

I believe the LLY is rated @ 310 HP , and the LBZ is rated @365 HP stock. When I go to websites that sell upgrades , they list 2004.5-2005 for the LLY, and 2006-2007.5 for the LBZ. So should I select the 2006 LBZ when I order parts ? No one seems to list the LLY for the 2006 model.
