New in Indiana

I finally broke down and got a 2008 GMC 2500HD LMM. I needed a nice truck to pull the race car. Just thought i would introduce myself here. Im big into fbody cars, i work for a gm dealership. Im an active member on ls1tech and i tune with efi live. I hope to learn a lot about this platform and meet some nice peeps!

Im not sure what you are asking me about the sensor. There arent any known problems off the top that i am aware of, i also just check gmglobalconnet for and si bullitins and i didnt see anything there either.

Glad to see another member. There is a lot of good info here. Also a few guys who cold probably give that F-Body a run for its money. You work for a dealer so you probably already know what happens when you let the addiction carry over to the Dmax( and it will)

Welcome to the site!!! You already have a good start with the EFI Live, now just dump the DPF and program out the regens and codes.

You best mod would be to put a turbo back exhaust on it. Most people that does it has to get a Quadzilla tuner, PPE Race tuner or EFI live to block the codes. Since you already have efi live then you will only need the exhaust. If you need help getting started with how to tune the Durmax contact IdahoRob (http://www.duramaxforum.com/forum/members/60.html). He is a sponsor on this site and a EFI Live vendor. He can help you write some awesome tunes for you truck that will give you a little more towing power and some great MPG gains. I would also look at doing a set of guages to watch your boost levels and EGTs.
