Power steering leak

I have an 04 2500hd duramax 6.6. It is leaking power steering fluid, I have tried replacing the lines. The leak seems to be coming from between master cyclinder and the hydro boost. Is there a seal there that I can replace? If so, how do I get to it?

It can be rebuilt, but I don't think GM services the parts-- they only have a complete hydro-booster. You may do a search and find a re-builder that will sell the parts you need.

I suggest you disassemble one and see what you need.
BE CAREFUL-- THE SILVER COLOR LARGE TUBE IS A ACCUMULATOR AND HAS A VERY STRONG SPRING AND CAN KILL IF NOT CAREFUL.

bout half the time its hoses and other half its the booster. the booster will usually leak more than the hoses. Lucas PS stop leak will slow it down till you have the $$ to replace the booster.
