How often Fuel Filter Change?

Hi all,
How often should the fuel filter be changed? Gotta change my oil and was wondering if I should change it as well. about 7000 miles on it.

'03 2500 HD : Banks: 6-Gun Power PDA, Big head waste gait, air intake lid, tie rod sleeves, 4x4 brackets, Nitto 305/70/16, Silverdine 5" Duals

05 3500 Dump truck: PPE race FPRV plug, 59000 miles, all stock.

I do mine every other oil change. 10,000 miles

10 to 15 is what I do never had a problem runs great

Bone stock 2012 cclb dually 4x4 LML - Sold 05 lly 6in rcd, 4in straight pipe, banks ram air, efi live, afe mp,20in moto metals,35 12/50 toyo open country mud terrains , mag hytec pans, di pricol boost and pyro gauges, and 149xxx and counting-was a great truck

The fuel filter does not stop 100% of the dirt and other debris. The longer you run a filter, more of the containments will be pumped through the injection system. That can cause damage injector and CP3 damage, and will be very expensive to repair.

You should change the fuel filter from 6K to 10k miles, and maybe even sooner, if you do not drive a lot. and it sits for extended times.
