2007 Allison tranny fluid

What do i top off with when i change the spin on filter?
not ready for the flush/change just yet, just want to get the right stuff to top off with.

One of these days it's gonna get the Amsoil tranny fluid.

Im not sure what year GM started to use Dexron 6 (factory fill) in the Allison. But if yours does have Dexron 6 itll be conventional Dexron 6.

I always used dex 3 or 4 IIRC.
