UDP or Nicktane?

Its not hearsay you even chimed in on the thread where a guy complained his adapt leaked. Then UDP redesigned them and to my knowledge they have not had that problem with the leaking since. I am not here to fight with you or call your favorite vendor out just stating facts from threads I read here. The search function works well. They had a problem with thier adapters leaking then they fixed it. I do not recall reading any threads where there was a problem with the Nicktane adapter when installed properly.

Just a heads up, got off the phone w/ Alligator and they are on back order for a couple weeks. Also was told they won't be getting the green in anymore and the only ones available will be in red.

We ordered 200 of them and had them all go out in a week, waiting on 200 more to get here now

The better question is what is the most popular color people want.

Black, red or green

Please, the search function is my bitch. I use it better than most. That was my thread I started that Tony turned in to a poll to see how many leaky UDP adapters were out there. I remember it well, you should too since you made some sales off of it. All of like 2 or 3 people chimed in with leak issues and most of those people cross threaded the damn things. You're right, any issues were fixed and there are videos on YouTube to prove it. I posted them but they were quickly deleted, prob because you and other vendors complained. UDP doesn't pay to be here, I get that and rules are rules. What I do have an issue with is you saying not to buy from them because of problems you read about but have no firsthand knowledge of. Maybe you shoulda threw that part about issues being addressed and resolved in your original post.

And for the record the only thing I ever bought from Newly was a tune, cat adapter, and blocker plate. I've maybe spent more money with you lol.

Lets keep this civil.

The original design did loose prime on certain trucks, Newly solved this with a very slight modification. Not all people who purchased the original adapter had issues.

UDP and ADP adapters are a VERY similar design. Their design is much different from Nicktane and as mentioned they are a much easier installation then the Nicktane.

My understanding is Alligator has the best price for the adapter, but the UDP adapter is only a few dollars more.

at the end of the day.. they are all a simple adapter that converts one thread type to another. With whoever you buy from you will be happy
