When my light comes on, I go get it changed. About 7-8k depending on driving vs idle time. Fuel filters are every 10K on the Cat and 15 on the AirDog. Changed injectors almost 50K ago and rates are good and no issues.

Nothing wrong with the DIC interval, it was engineered to adjust the interval based on engine load, idle time, etc.... It's actually quite good if you're sticking with conventional oil and standard filtration.
