Nicktane/Cat install question!

SIAP. Installing this week, my noob question is this, I spun on cat filter while holding adapter, are the small holes in adapter suppoosed to line up with small holes in filter? I hope the answer is no cause they sure don't.

what hole are you talking about? I assume you mean the holes on the inside of the filter? If so no.
The little sink holes on the outside of the filter housing are for tightening the adapter down.

Yeah the small holes inside filter & small pre-drilled holes in adapter.

Just making sure before install. At first glance it looks like they would line up but don't.

Hard to translate humor on a keyboard. I'm happy with the ol lb7 thus far. Trying to get all maintenance up to date & on scheduled intervals. I bit on the amsoil pitch & ordered every changeable fluid from front to rear.
