| DURAMAX oil change. Dealer? I normally do all my own oil changes , but its cold out and I have a broke leg. What type of oil and filters do the dealers use ? are they junk? I was told it cost around $92.00 for oil,lube and filter.

| Depends, if you go to a GM dealer then they will likely use the GM stuff which is good stuff, they just charge you an arm and a leg for it.

| If you want to use a special oil, the dealer will usually do that too, but you need to bring them the oil to put in. I know my dealer will do that if I request it. Broke leg is a bummer.

| 2 dealers close to me. 1 uses delvac and the other used rotella. both use ac delco filters

| If it was me I would go to a local lube place not the dealer...idk about there but there are 10min oil change places all over here...I went once and had mine done can it was winter and I couldn't get in the garage...they used rotella and I took them a wix filter since they only had penzoil filters...cost $60 for oil change, lube chassis, check fluids
