Baldwin fuel Filters

Went to a local store in Jax,FL and puchased 3 Baldwin fuel filters and 2 Baldwin oil filters. To my surprise, the fuel filters were made in China!!! I thought I would try them out but, don't you know that the o-rings for the top would not work. gonna take those filters back for a refund...Just another small reminder that out sourcing doesn't work!!!

I too discovered that Baldwins were made in China. I started running the Parker Racor fuel filter. No problems as of yet!!

Mad Jack Racing on the forum has them for $36.00 plus shipping. About the best price I have found.

+1 on the racor filters from madjack. Just got two from him and installed one, my first time installing a diesel filter. no issues or problems and the filter looked to be of good quality. Claim is its the same as the dealers but cheaper. Got a spare to keep with the truck.

Baldwin filters are junk imo. They put them on our equipment at work, and they are always blowing gaskets. I wish they'd go back to using Cat filters. John Deere Filters are the same way as baldwin's in my experience.

Now that is funny! Baldwin makes cat filters and baldwin filters are made in nebraska. The box is made in china not the filter. I run baldwin on all my trucks and all my filters come out of nebraska. Out of 80 trucks I have never seen a baldwin gasket blow out. I run the fuel filters on my pickup I have never had a problem.
