Oil Life Reset

Can someone remind me how to reset the Oil Life % on my 05 GMC Duramax?

Something like...ignition on, push gas pedal to floor five times and oil life will flash on dash screen.
Am I correct?

Thanks

3 times will do it. You can do it with ignition off.

I like to scroll to the "Engine Oil Life 0%" and then hold the enter button in until it resets. Easier to remember and I think you can do it even while driving.

Nice truck dirtman!! now that his question is answered, what about a truck that just has the change oil flashing, my truck doesn't have the fancy cluster that tells you the percentage, mpg, and all of that..
