I'm looking to upgrade my '09 Bose amp to the lux version out of an escalade or similar. There seems to be a lot out there on the topic, but nothing specific on an '09. I guess my biggest question is what part number am I looking for and is that all I need? I've got the nav system and rear entertainment system.

I gotta say I'm dissapointed in the sound of my 'Bose' system. I'd like to upgrade the amp. All the research I've done so far seems to pointing to an easy upgrade if I can get my hands on the right part.

Any parts guys out there able to ensure I've got the right part# for the LUX Escalade or Denalli amp. My dealership gave me 20808897, but I'd like to confirm that one because I honestly don't trust them. Also, if there are any alternates, I'd appreciate it. It might increase my chances of an Ebay hit.

When i had my bose system in my grand prix I just added a sub to my system with and aftermarket amp and then it sounded pretty good.

I want to know if that would help my 2009 enough to justify the price. It is just over $300. with free shipping.

Have you been able to get any more info on this? I've searched for the part number you listed with out any luck on oempartstoday.com. Do you currently have the factory nav system? I'd be curious to see if the amp upgrade automatically adds the DSP options in the head unit menu, or if it would need to be reprogrammed.
