Armalite, I Heard You Picked Up Some 1/4 Inch Wheel Spacers. Who Did You Use? Were They Steel? I Need 1/4 Inch Spacers To Make My Wheels Work Up Front With A Zone Lift That I Plan On Buying.

Lol, I voided my warranty at 20k miles when I installed my tuner. It's going to be up to your dealership on whether or not they void your warranty. Some are good to work with, others, not so much...

Hey man how's it going? Another forum member sent me your way. I was just wondering what Rancho kit you are running? Non torsion bar drop? How it works, what size tires are you running and do they rub? Basically whatever you feel like telling me lol. I'm seriously considering running the same set up with some air bags in the back. Thanks Dude!!

Get up with mrmanners. He is an amsoil dealer, and he will take care of you. Tell him i sent you...

On the Fass. It is necessary if you are running the hot tune from h&s. You will lose fuel pressures when you mash on it, and the factory pump cant keep up. That's where the lift pumps come into play. It will also seperate the air bubbles from your fuel that is sent to the motor. Check out airdogs website, they have a video explanation of what im talking about.

On increasing fuel economy, it's a toss up. I installed the s&b filter, and it improved my mileage by 1.5 mpg. Some say it didnt affect theirs. Just depends. I would give the truck about 30k miles before you go drastic, and start with tuners and deleting all the emissions junk. By doing that, you can add gains of up to 5 mpg over what you are currently seeing.

Also, that mileage will probably drop some after the truck gets broke in. I was averaging 17 on hwy the first month, by three months later, I was getting 15.4 mpg. And it never got much more than 16. Now, I'm getting about 17 again, but I'm running the mild tune. Different tunes get different mpg's, but no need to get into that now.

Hope some of this helps. Thanks.

Few more things, you're running a fully synthetic oil. This is mo good for the engine. It really coats everything, and lubricates extremely well. Doesnt break down near as quick as conventional oil. Second, you're running a 2 micron filter. The factory is like an 8 I think. You're catching extremely small particles of debris, if there are any. Third, you send a small sample of oil off for an oil analysis check. They will tell you what kind of condition the oil is in, and if its time for a change. They can detect anything going on with the motor, before something goes wrong. They can tell you if there is diesel in the oil, being an injector is about to go out. They can tell you if there are metal shavings, meaning, you're about to do some major damage! All in all, it's a mod that will put money back in your pocket. Name me one install that puts $1000 a year back in your pocket !!!
