Well that's disappointing. I did meet a guy from Nitro tonight who has a shop and can do Duramax work, but he's all the way over there. I guess everybody just has to travel everywhere from here.

Awesome to know somebody local. If you had to have work done on your truck, where would you take it? The guys that did the oil for me in Spencer would only recommend taking it to Charleston if needed but didn't specify anybody in particular.

I actually just replaced the line from the ABS block to the rearend as it was rusted pretty bad and I had the bed off. It had to be cut and rebent and flared as it was approx. 4" to long. the other lines I really don't know about as I haven't got around to replacing them, I did check the rear lines that go to each side and they seem to be a direct fit. There was no clips with this set. I will say that they were about $30 cheaper at Rock Auto for the same set I believe. I will also say that I had to contact the vendor directly to get a set to fit my truck which is an 2001 extended cab short bed as it didn't show any on the web site that would fit, don't know if this was part of the problem with the fitment but it didn't seem that the line that was too long would've been long enough for a long bed. Sorry I couldn't be more help but if I ever get around to installing the rest of them I will post my results, seems as if the hurrieder I go the behinder I get as my granddad would say.

How did the Dorman SS brake line job go?

Did the lines have the clips on them?

How long did it take you?

    Any tips?
