My buddy did his with an eraser that mounts to a drill and it worked well too I actualy used the eraser on a small portion of mine just to check it out and its fairly easy to use as well but like the heat gun you can burn the paint or the clear coat . I think theres youtube videos about doing the job as well . Good luck bro as long as you take your time it shouldntbe too hard and you will really like the results .

Hi I used a heat gun to warm up the badges/chrome strip . I tried to get them almost too hot to touch and peeled them back nice and slow while applying a little heat to the outside of the badges/chrome strip .( NOTE: you do not want to overheat the paint or you will be sorry) Once I got the badges off a lot of the double sided tape separated and stayed on the paint so I used some 3M adhesive remover and began to get what was left of the double sided tape and adhesive off I applied the remover to a rag and soaked the tape/adhesive so it would soften and I could use my thumb and rub it off . Its really not hard to do just tedious and time consuming . Once I got it all off there was a little staining left on the paint and I used a Mr clean magic eraser to clean the paint a little more and gave it a slight rub out with 3M rubbing compound and some 3M hand glaze. I guess you could tell im a 3m fan .

i was looking through the truck photos and you said that you have your truck all debadged but the duramax one. How did you get these off i know with fishing line but how do you get the 3M crap off i am taking the hood scoops off my truck and it is a lot of elbow grease and goo gone. Is there a better way?
