    I completely agree!! I would start by getting a clay bar kit: Wolfgang Clay kit with Lubber would be my recommendation. Wash the truck really good, then dry it off. Pull it in an area where no dust will get on it. Tear off a small piece of clay to start with. Use the lubber to spray down each 3ftx3ft area and then run the clay on the paint. Do this to the whole truck. This will allow the truck to have a good clean surface for the wax or paint sealant to bond to. Then buy some Poorboys Black Hole Show glaze. Apply to the entire vehicle. This will give you the deep wet look you are looking for. Then apply the Wolfgang 3.0 Paint Sealant. This will give you the ultimate protection and another addition of wet glossy look.
