I talked with the owner of a local cruisin diner last night about having a cruise night for diesel trucks. She was very interested in the idea. The name of the diner is Porky's it is located on the N.W. side of Des Moines. The plan is to have the cruise night on Friday June 6th from 6p.m. till 9 or 10 p.m.. To make this work though we pretty much need an rsvp from everyone who will attend. This is so we can assure her that there will be enough of us there for her to justify staffing the patio area with a grill cook, DJ, and beer girls for the evening. If this cruise is a success, she would be willing to give the diesel guys every other Friday night or 2 to 3 Friday nights a month. So if you guys want a diesel night in Iowa like they have all over the west coast then here is your chance. Hope we can get a big turn out.

Remember DF members it is a diesel cruise night so it is open to all light duty diesels. So tell everyone you know, just remember to rsvp. I am going rain or shine just as long as there is no hail or twisters.
