sweet man, ya im a flat lander to. try to make it out west once a year though. its aobut 12 hours to cooke city which is insanely hard riding but fun as hell. you just ride alot of trails then? we hardly ever though trails but then again we race and if we were on trails we might kill someone. if crazy to think we hit approaches at 80 and fly 40 to 80 feet off most of them.

It is fun. But what's even more fun riding a 600lb machine being able to hit 120 pretty darn fast. Dad's got an 05 Mach Z and It's got some go to it. I can get him off the line til about 45 ish then he blows by. Mine has been set up for low end. 03 800 Rev. Port, polish, milled heads wiseco pistons, v-force 3's and some clutch and gearing. I need a different track. The stocker with a bunch of studs pushes too much in the corners. Thinkin of finding another Mach for me and letting the fiance ride the 800. That Mach just cruises awesome at 80!

Most miles I've put on in a day was 330. That was a tough day on a 95 Formula Z when I was 18!

ya sleds are a blast. jumping is fun but jsut riding is a blast to. im no top end guy when it comes to sleds, accell and handling is what its all aobut for me. my 660 mod motor wnet form 0 to 85 in 4.2 second on average on hard pack. it was a real arm stretcher. you can get really carried away on them though, jsut as bad as pickups. i spend 12,000 building my 04 proxr 660 mod and sold it for 5,000 and never rode it. had the engine in my 03 but the 04 was sweet when it was done nothing like it around. is the all black and chrome sled in the first post.

the machz;s really are not that great of sleds. the 1000SDI engine is really a hit or miss. alot of them ran horrible. also note they are heavy and the suspensions are not great, limited front end travel. personally id go with a new 09 dragon 800 poo but the 09 xp is going to be a much better sled then the 08 xp was. i still think the rev is better then the xp though. i dont relaly like the rev though either. i dont feel very comfortilbe on them. i like the IQr much better. the new cat racers are really nice sled but your not looking at race sleds. id go poo or doo if oyu looking at a consumer sled though for sure.

80 is not to bad. over 100 gets a little interesting though. you get tunnel vision and it can be scary. i crashed at the I500 this last year at 70. put the sled into the river banks around a corner. that what happens when its -20 and the snow dust is so bad that when you are within 100 feet of passing someone your running blind.

How much have you ridden a rev? They do take some getting used to riding. I think the cats a little squirrely with the narrower track. You wouldn't think that 2 inches makes that much difference. I haven't kept up on the newer models of sleds so I don't know what Ski-doo has out now. I saw plenty of XP's out last year. They all have their pluses and minuses bout like any of the trucks. Just what you prefer. Remember, you are a Polaris sponsored rider, so you're gonna be a little biased
