When I installed mine, it only took 15 minutes and I had no issues. I had a tuner and exhaust on my truck before I installed it, so I didn't notice any power/MPG gains....but other than that I have no complaints about it. I like Banks stuff because it does work....and you do get what you pay for. About every 3 months I rip my filter off and check to make sure it's doing a good job, and so far my intake tube is nice and clean...and the MAF is good too...

I have to weigh in a little here, I have an '03 LB7 with the 6-gun/ spd loader option, (which I rarely use BTW) But I have never had the issues that others seem to have with other tuners. I will say that before I installed my FASS Lift Pump I had fuel starvation issues while under a load, but since then the only "Code" I have even had come up was for "OverBoost" when accelerating hard under a load, but NEVER while unloaded and I have raced a couple of other vehicles pretty hard in 2wd at times.
As far as an intake, I believe that they would be worth the money, especially because of the Ram air option, I had to go with another product when I upgraded my intake due to pricing, but I now wish I had saved my pennies and went ahead and bought the Banks system....

yep banks is worth the money. i love mine and going to get as many banks products as i can. i cant wait until their tuning program comes out. ill have to diside if i want that or efi live. is you can put tunes right into the six gun with pda then it banks for sure (im betting you will be able to). as for the intake. yep the real ram air option they have makes it relaly nice. im going banks for sure. they have really really really good filters to. my only thing i dont like aobut the six gun is there is no rev limit adjust which im sure there will be with there new tuning progams soon

You will control the tune you make with the PDA, and be able to make changes right there, or thats what banks told me couple months ago.

ok that is sweet. i cant wait not. i was going to get efi lie but banks is my man now. so you can adjust from the pda as well as computer, that is nice. with the pda now you can make some adjust but cant really build fuel curves. id like to add more fuel down low right now but cant. i got bad turbo lag do to the 5 inch exhaust, doesnt relaly start to boot until aobut 1800 rpms and doesnt build good boost until 2200

This is said to have full control, i am not sure if everything can be adjusted on PDA, they havent released much info. All specualtions lead this to believe EFI live wont stand a chance time will only tell.

I am sure it's gonna be a great product, but Gale has some big shoes to fill to be able to out do EFI live.
