Will any codes read from putting the lbz intake on? probably not, since it wont with a cold air intake.
Im gonna try that, do i just get it from chevy?

IF you swap the entire LBZ intake on then you will have to get a LBZ maf sensor also. Then you will have to either have the chevy dealer or someone with EFI live to re-scale the maf sensor voltage in the computer. It is much eaiser to either to mod your mouthpiece, buy a modded mouthpiece, or get the IOH kit that is designed to make the LBZ moupiece fit the LLY intake.

The intake pic above is an LLY intake adapted to the LBZ/LMM mouthpiece. Changing the entire intake will effect the MAF sensor as BRC said. The side-by-side comparison pic above is of the turbo mouthpieces only, not the intakes.
Don't know if I"m missing anything or not, but Killerbee has an article about changing or modifying the mouthpiece. Actually if you contact him I think he sells that stuff. Some guy just had a post on here about how he went to see him, bought some stuff off of him, and he was VERY happy! I think the thread was called "an unbiased review" or something like that.
