egr delete

I have a 2007 lbz duramax.

Whats do you guys reccamend:

egr delete or blocker plate?

Also what kits for the pcv re-route are you guys using?

I will be running a efi live dsp5 setup.

Delete because you will be using EFI.


If your not going to use EFI, block it.

If you don't mind me asking why? What is involved with the delete, i have read a bunch on blocker but not the delete. Why would you suggest it with efi? Thanks for your help.

LBZ / LMM / LML EGR Delete Tube - Creatures of the Night Performance

Also need one of these if you don't want to weld your up pipes riser pipe shut or swap a lb7 up pipe in.

Best think you can do. On the Pvc reroute we sell a kit thats not on the site or you can do a search a go to lowes or home depot and make one.

Anytime you block or delete the egr if you do not have a tuner like Efi live. It will turn on the service engine light.

I got ya thanks for the info. I have to ask though due to my money situation if i do a egr block and the re-route with the efi live will i be fine? I am doing all of this mostly for mpgs and a little boost.

The blocker plate will work. But the delete make it a lot cleaner and helps with flow and mpg.

Took me 3.5 hrs the 1st time..........

The hardest part was getting the up pipe bolts loose on the egr cooler...........
