40% over injectors

bought 40 over injectors off of a guy on here im assuming ill just need to get it retuned once their installed? plan on sending them off to industrial injection to get them checked out before i install them but their supposed to have less than 1000 miles on them. anything else i need to know??

Yea you will deffinately need some tuning changes.

Any reason you want to send them to Industrial?

You will need new tuning and I'd hold off before sending them to Industrial, just talk to a few guys and see what your best plan of attack is.

If it is a lly, I would ask to see if that guy had a flow sheet on them, my guess is that it didn't change much since then.

i want to send them to industrial so they can check them out and make sure they are in a good working condition. talked to the guy that does some of the work on my truck and he told me a horror story about a guy that bought "slightly used" injectors, anyhow one stuck wide open and toasted the motor. its a "id rather spent 200$ to be sure i wont have to spend $$?? on a new motor" kind of thing haha

oh ok they are II sticks. II has had some issues in the past, but rumor is that they have fixed some of those issues

Do you guys agree that it's smart to send them off to II? Should I be fine with these injectors?

If it was me-
I would see if the guy had any flow sheets on them, and if he only ran them for 1000 miles and you believe him (I am talking generic terms like I bought them from someone I don't know) I would put them on the truck and check the balance rates, and just know if something doesn't look right I would be pulling them back off.
If II would check them for cheap I would send them off in the first place, but I'm a cheap bastard. If you are going to sit there and worry about it just send them off
