| MBRP Exhaust Clamps I'm not to keen on the exhaust clamps that MBRP sends with their systems. i have a 5in turbo back, and was wondering what kind of band clamps you guys uses. diameter, etc. would it be 5 in or 6 in?

| Napa has 3A Stainless Seal bands, I use them on my 4" with good results, been through one winter, No rusting yet I have not noticed any leaks either, and i am under my truck pretty often doing this that and the other thing LOL... Dynomax has a good band as well, Dynatech is a damn good clamp but pricey... 5" is 5" when you get the bands, 6" will be way loose... Last edited by FC5452; 12-07-2012 at 07:04 AM. |

| okay thanks! the only reason i asked about 6 is because the pipe swells up on one side to fit on top of the other, tht why i was curious. Mind me asking how much you paid for your clamps??

| Sorry got called into work, I use the lipped version wider on the receiver side and narrower for the pipe that goes in. They average in price from 9 to 25 a piece. ImageUploadedByAutoguide1354907759.245969.jpg Sent from my iPhone using AutoGuide.com App |
