As noted above the Edge does not have tranny relearn. How important is that?

Of the Edge models CS, CTS, Race CS, Race CTS and the stand monochrome display what are the differences?

My truck is an LBZ '06, so if I remove the EGR and put on a free flow exhaust will I need the Race to stop codes?
I would like them to have tranny relearn, and they say it will in the future, so I hope that comes true. It is a nice feature, but if you drive it easy, it will just take a few more miles to relearn.

The major differences between the EVO classic and the CS/CTS parts is the display screen is much more clear, it will also have future options that won't be available to the EVO classic, the splash screen is customizeable on the CS/CTS, and it will monitor 8 PID's (units of measure) at one time vs. the EVO classic's 4. Also the EVO classic comes with an EGT probe, the CS/CTS do not. You have to purchase it separately.

You will need the Race Tuner to block the EGR on your truck, the std. versions will not work.

Hope that helps.

Chad

One other question.

The built in gauges on the CS and CTS, do they have LP fuel pressure or only Fuel rail pressure?

I answered in the other thread, but only Rail Pressure, no Lift Pump pressure. Maybe in the future, it could be an option for the CTS with the expandable probe setup. I don't know that for fact, but I don't know many reasons for an expandable probe setup other than LP pressure, trans temp, etc...
