EFI Live isn't a "chip" it's a computer based tuning program. It is by and large the best money can buy, but you have to be sure it's for you, as it's not for everyone.

Here's some good reading to see what you think about EFI. If you have some more questions I'd be happy to answer them for you

most vendors give you a couple tunes for free with your purchase, like the others said yes its the best!!!

EFILive is the best tuning software for the Duramax but is it the best for you that is to be determind!
if your looking for a slight HP and fuel economy increase i would recommend doing a PPE Standard,ATS E-Power,Quadzilla Stealth,Diablo Predator,Hypertech and Edge Evo(depending on what yr make and model)!

I'd say you could do about anything, they'll all help power and mileage. But you're best bet will be to get rid of the DPF. EFI Live can do that, and get you some amazing power, but if thats more than you're looking for, I'd highly recommend the Edge Evo race. Great power and fuel mileage, plus it'll sound like a real truck once you get rid of the DPF.
