I would start with an exhaust and a mild tuner. The down-pipe is not necessary, but will add a little more if you need it down the road.

welcome to the DF..for starters i would do an exhaust like mention and the down pipe is optional!a cold air intake does help as well along with what they call the intake horn mod(use the search function for info on that)and some gauges to keep an eye on things! i would recommend either ATS E-Power,PPE,Diablo or EFILive for tuning! EFILive is the best!

A good combo for that truck would be a Diablosport Predator or PPE Standard and a 4" turbo down pipe back exhaust. You might want to consider adding some gauges too, especially if you're towing.
