i soon will be getting a built trans and will be able to turn the programmer the whole way up. i no i need a lift pump and want an air dog. which one is best for the 06. is it the AD II?? i think that has the least install work. also will i need a fuel rail shim? if i do how much are they and how hard are they to install?? thanks

Airdog II is a good pump. The fuel rail shim isn't mind numbing, just can be a bit of grunt work.

there is a valve in the end of the fuel rail on driver's side . you remove this take it apart and install shims then put put it all back together

get the LP, run your truck and see if you are popping a low fuel rail code. no sence in doing all that work to your fuel rail if you arent losing pressure.
