Lbz With Juice On Drive Smokes Bad Going Into Third Egt Alarms
I have the 4 inch dynoflow system with no cat.. the edge with attitude. now when i am tromping on it when it goes in to third gear power drops off smoke goes everywhere and the egt alarm sounds off.. the defuel setting is in no smoke least fuel. where should all the settings be on this programmer? And what do you think the prob is with the third gear thing? Should i look in to the downpipe and the drivers side manifold? Thanks, John
Not something you want to hear but I would get rid of the Edge. Always complaints about them messing up and being poorly tuned. But I would say take it off the truck, set it to stock and then put it back on a day later. See if any of your issues clear up. Downpipe might be a good idea also

LIFE'S TOO SHORT, PARTY NAKED!!!
I've never been really impressed with this tuner.. I would love to try another.. This one always seems to be too variable on the performance.. when something runs good i like it to run good all the time!! What is the recommended tuner on most dur owners?
I have an edge. I have been happy with it but I also have had problems with mine. If anything you can call edge and you can send it in. Thats what I did. It may just need an update. I had my edge shut my whole truck down before. But honestly if you are looking for quick power a programmer is it, But I am saving up for new turbo and EFI Live because that is the best way to get a tune.

I've heard things about all of the programmers. I got a good deal on my edge and thats why I went edge. But my plans are to be getting EFI live in the SPRING!

I just traded in my edge juice with attitude for the edge evo race. There is absolutly no comparison. Level 3 (goes to 7) on the evo race feels better than the juice on 5 all around. Turbo feels and sounds better, power range is smoother, and it feels like it has an exhaust brake in tow mode. So far I haven't had any problems with Edge. I tried quadzilla and had problems loading it up, afterwards the power was disappointing. Everybodys experience is different though.
