i want to hear from the people that have actually owned, installed or worked on a cheetah/ fleece turbo to see how reliable and dependable they actually are

bds 7inch lift is on the way along with a set of 17 inch chrome xd diesel wheels. havent decided on a set of tires yet
I have not ran the Fleece, but I want to mention the Garrett 4094VVT. I run one on my LMM and have been very happy with it. It is priced less than a Cheetah and has no core.
If you have any questions on it let me know, it is a variable vane turbo like the factory turbo.

If your heart is set on the Cheetah speak with MMLMM first.....he might give you some insight on it's overall reliability. As Tyler said though the 4094 VVT is usually a better choice.....but to each his own.
The reliability is right where it should be.. MMLMM never ran one. He bought one that had been abused. Just because you can tune a turbo to make 45psi plus doesn't mean that you should
I'm just trying to learn here not jack the thread but how much boost can the garret 4094 handle? I am trying to get a new to me 06 silverado is why i am asking and just thinking ahead.

Sorry Brayden......not trying to throw you under the bus just saying that Mike is the only one I've talked to that ran a Cheetah and could give good feedback.

2 things....I did run one, but there was a good chance it was already abused as it was on for 2 days and then had to be pulled off...
45psi tuning....I didnt tune it so nobody get the idea I incorrectly tuned a turbo here. It was on another truck tuned by another tuner. I put it on and pushed it to 34psi in my tune.
I did however drive it for 2 days and it seemed good even on its way out. A lot better than factory for sure, and sounded good. Id prolly try again if the funds allowed.
