I have read and seen a lot of posts here about transmission questions. So here is an article in Diesel Power that seems to answer a lot of the questions.

lots of useful info in that article. does anyone have or has used one of ats' copilot trans modules? i hear they supposed to do great things for longevity and help with line pressure for modified pickups that haven't made the transmission upgrades. for now my tranny is stock. i have a ppe programmer on level2 and an edge juice stacked. lots of power but i don't wanna hurt the tranny. lookin for a little preventative insurance till i have money for a billet transmission and a 5star torque converter.
First DO NOT STACK they both will add timing the dont add where one left off they add the same no matter what...that is really bad for your truck I would dump the edge and only run the PPE or maby just use the edge for gauges...and another thing dont try to reflash with the ppe while the edge is hooked up
