Exhaust Upgrade

Several questions I would like to ask concerning exhaust upgrade/mod.

My application would be light to medium load towing. I am looking for good tone, not loud boom.

Would it be best to scrap full exhaust and go turbo back?

Or, cat back?

Or, a delete pipe?

I am considering most MSRB, stainless?

Is this something that I can do by myself with simple hand tools like wrenches, ratchets and pry bar?

Any other suggestions that I should consider?

4" or 5"? Single or dual?

I would do a 4" turbo-back, it will increase flow and lower egt's. MBRP is the most popular kit i sell, and i run one and like it very much. It is something you can do with hand tools and some pb blaster if exhaust rusty. Let me know anymore questions.

Thanks Tyler

The 4" is big enough. As far as duals or single, that is personal preference. Other that the looks there is no performance benifit to the duals.

Go with a Turbo back 4 inch MBRP. It is wel worth it. Do not do a turbo back. You do not gain anything. when I did the trubo back my EGT's did not drop at all. When I did the turbo back my EGT's droped about 250 degress.

Bahahahahaa thats funny right there!

I'll throw another vote in for the MBRP turbo back 4 inch. The cat holds back the most power and will hurt the EGT's the most. Removing that wil give you the biggest improvement!
