I've been considering this option also. My only concern is and correct me if I'm wrong but with this set up there is no air separator like on the FASS and AirDog.

seems like a good deal for the DIYer. I might try one of these out when I buy a new truck.

Buy a nicktane adapt and a Donaldson filter with water separator. And run this pump, my exact plans I have everything but the pump lol

I'm not worried about air in the fuel system. I think it's a way for people to make more money. I look at it this way the factory setup has no air filter the 6.5's don't have that problem; and if you don't run your fuel too low, I think you won't need to worry about it.

Air is one of the main causes for injector failure. Air will kill an injector just as well as dirty fuel will.

I get that. I'm just saying if you bleed it out after installing a new lift pump there isn't much way air can get back into the system without having some sort of leak.

Derski69, don't bother trying to reason with them. Yes air does hurt the injectors, but how much we'll never know because its near impossible to conduct an accurate test.

I get ya I'm not trying to start an argument. I just can't see buying a fuel air separator because there is a million plus trucks on the road with out air sepperators.
