sub.

This is a thread that I started, no updates yet. I am thinking about getting the Snow Performance kit.

Snow Performance on LML - Your Thoughts???

Snow Performance : Diesel MPG-MAX?

I called Snow and they said for the LMLs for towing they recommend the MPG Max kit (#48005).

I have a hard time believing they wouldn't be able to not find out about the water/meth. The controller might not leave a signature, but how are you going to explain the ports in the intake? You're also going to have to remove the system everytime you take it to the dealership aswell wouldn't you?

How often do you visit the dealership?

I bought mine new, got my last free oil change at 29k and didn't see them again until 97k

I'm not sure what you drive, as I can't see signatures on auto guide. However the dealer will be able to see your water meth. If you put an aftermarket intake, it may come with ports, but if you run any meth, and stomp on it, it's going to create more cylinder pressure, and it will show on the max torque to transmission reading stored in the ECU. Now weather or not it's over the max they warranty or not, really comes down to how much torque your stock truck makes, accuracy of sensor, how much meth you run, and when you have max spray.

In my way home tonight driving 110km/h (65-70mph) I make 4-5psi on no power tune. But I also have weight in my box. Is it normal to make no boost like the OP?

Driving 110km/h or approx. 70 mph with cruise on and no extra weight, I consistently build 1 psi and when I hit a hill it goes up. I drive around on my max effort tune, I can see what difference it makes switching to the optimized stock and let you know. How much extra weight are we talking?

My truck runs about 9500-10000lb curb weight.

This morning going 120Km/h into what feels like a bit of headwind, it's running 11-12psi

*edit*

Actually a fair headwind. My antennas are leaning to the pass side once I turned north.

My boost levels match n49ATV all the time.

I am assuming andy does not live in a hilly area.

That's on the flats. With slight hills I'll hit 8-10 with no wind, and this morning I hit 15-16psi in the rolling hills. Are you also on no power tune?
