FS: Brand new SBC dual disc clutch for ZF6

Hi everyone - newbie here, first post actually. I usually hang out on dieselplace but because I don't have a high post count over there, I'm not able to list this item for sale.

I have a brand new SBC max con dual disc kit with single mass flywheel for sale. I bought this about 1.5 months ago from John Ayre at Dynadroit Diesel(www.dynadroit.com). It has not even been taken out of the box yet. I bought this for my dad's LB7/ZF6 but have realized within the past week, that my dad has no interest in the noise that a dual disc makes, nor does he want to give up the driveability that his stock clutch gives him (his truck is 100% stock - we bought the dual disc under the assumption that bigger is better which turns out won't be true, in his case at least). If you haven't heard about this clutch setup yet, it is THE state of the art clutch setup. Supposedly the driveability is much much better than in previous dual disc designs while still being able to hold enormous amounts of power and torque.

From dynadroit.com
The DD Max Con is a brand new design for the Duramax with the ZF6 transmissions from 2001 through 2006. The previous version had fewer buttons and RWHP was from 400 to 650. These new kits have 10 buttons on each side of each clutch plate. In addition they now have sprung hubs on the clutch plates, which reduce the rattle and absorb a lot of the diesel spike.

I bought this on sale when it was first released, that sale is now over. Retail is now $1795, plus shipping. I am asking $1500 and for the buyer to pay shipping. If within reasonable distance of Pittsburgh, PA, I will drive halfway to meet you to save on shipping (this box weighs about 100 lbs, literally).

Please contact me at mhaas281@msn.com or PM me if you are interested or have any questions. Please do not be discouraged by this being my first post here, I assure you that I will do everything to make this a smooth, seemless transaction. There may be more info on these forums too, I'm not sure.

Thanks,
Mike

Well, he did offer to do so, but suggested I try to sell it on my own as an alternative, for the simple fact that a buyer will pay shipping, as opposed to me having to pay to ship it back to him in Colorado (I would be paying for shipping twice). He also thought I could get a few dollars more for it than I paid, just because I got it on sale and the current price is $1795! John is a great guy, great service - I will be buying a single disc from him as soon as this one sells!

If you change your mind, let me know!
Thanks!
Mike
