nissan trucks wont exist in the near future.... and toyota is ugly garbage... they try and use too much car technology making them glorified grocery getters.....not real trucks..... and they dont last as long as you think.... the prius is rated for 150k miles.... thats it.... we just got rid of a 300k mile 2004 F150 that never had any issues and rarely had any regular maintence... do that to a titan and you will be lucky to get 100-150k.... same goes for the POS tundra
and talk up your IFS all you want.... rock krawlers dont use IFS... Semi trucks dont use IFS, tractors, combines, etc dont use IFS.... why? because it is weak... half ton trucks can handle it because they dont see work or loads... but 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks need the solid axle for strength... especially when you factor in the weight of one of these diesel engines......

I say the solid axle is a rough ride from my own experience. I have owned 2 other Ford solid front axles and my IFS Chevy is a night and day difference. I know they are stronger and last longer but what Crew cab long bed diesel truck goes out rock crawling?
Why is Cummins still working on a light duty for Nissan then? I am not trying to argue, but I have very good sources.
Also I dont have a problem with any auto manufacture. But stock to stock, the Cummins and Gm Diesel have far less issues. The Cummins has had issues with the new 6.7 though.

ford is built to be a work horse through and through, yeah its a little rougher than your chevy... but go drive a dodge... its will be just as smooth of a ride... seats are a little stiffer, but thats besides the point... I had a 10" lift and 40" tires on our dodge and it rode like an escalade
I have had a 02 Cummins, and have had plenty of time in a 04.5, and they dont ride very well compared to the Gm IFS. Both Dodges had to have the front left hub replaced under 50k miles.
again... dynatrac free spin kit will fix the dodge problem hands down... and if I still had the dodge I would let you ride in it to see how much better it rode than your IFS trucks... megacab shortbed with 10" lift and it rode better than 95% of any of your IFS trucks
its all in what spring rate you have... solid axle leaf sprung is rough ride... solid axle coil spring is softer but still stiff... solid axle coilover can be adjusted and made to suit you and can be a skateboard or it can be a cadillac
