Point proven, although my friends 6.4 must be a bad apple then cause its got dpf with a sct tune(not a hot one im assuming) and from a stop he only keeps a truck length on my friends stock 6.7 cummins till they let off. And no the 6.4 started in 08, the new 6.7 scorpion sounds decent, apparently it gets realllly good mileage
Well, i dont think its a bad apple...if he deleted the dpf and got a 80-120hp tune, it would be fast. I used to think they werent that fast with just a tune until saw several drags with the 6.4 and all were in the low 12s' and one high 11.
That and what a few people on here have observed is what i based it on but i didnt intend to begin an arguement.

i actually rode in a new 6.7 cummins today for the first time and i observed two things, one is it accelerates very well, especially from cruising on the interstate to wot and the other was the interior imo looked cheap and a little outdated. It did sound and run well though.

Dodge interior has always been outdated. I hate the interior look of a dodge

LIFE'S TOO SHORT, PARTY NAKED!!!
Its like they concentrate on the cummins then wing the rest. Its not like terrible but i would think they would spruce it up some to have more of a total package deal.

Just cause a 6.4 is tuned doesnt mean its fast, could be 50HP tune or just could be a DPF delete system, so dont call people a liar if you didnt witness it, its just annoying. My friends dads6.4 has DPF delete and a SCT tune and my buddys STOCK(with intake) 6.7 kept up to it pretty well. We just straight piped the 6.7 last night, and what a bitch without proper tools, to get the stock downpipe off you either have to cut it or drop the transmission brace, so we decided to cut it but we only had 1 saws all blade and it got dull and the stores were closed so i cut 1/2 the pipe with a hack saw blade by HAND!! hahah Keep on roastin the fords!!
A stock 6.4 should walk away from a LB7 with ease it does not have to be tuned

Ya the 6.7 is decent, the exhaust brake sounds sooooo good when you straight pipe the exhaust, and i agree, dodge interiors are horrid

My stock Lb7 is guttless pig. I had mine stock for 2 days and went crazy. I have raced a stock Cummins (CR) with my truck stock and it wooped my butt from a dig.
