Well this isnt in my D-Max but i was riding my 07 GSXR 1000 back from the mountains one day and this guy in a newer red Dodge dually Cummins 4x4 comes blowing by smoking me out.I could see and hear his straight 4 inch exhaust and he had a edge sticker on back window.Well needless to say i was on his bumper in a second so here we are flying thru a 35 mph running like 80. it finally dumps into a 2 lane and i give him about 5-6 seconds and he shoots off.I then clicked her down to 2nd and rolled on it. I came by him tucked and rollin 140 and ended up puttin about a quarter of a mile between us REAL quick

I later found he has the edge juice with att., DDP injectors, 4 inch tb exhaust,FASS,banks CFM elbow and AFE intake and somthing else But i can tell you that thing was really rollin the coal. O well maybe next time i can catch him in the truck

One of the more fun ones that I have.

I was in the staging lanes up next to a Ford GT. The crowd was laughing that I was going to run against this super car. I just waved and smiled.

We lined up and away we go. I had him by a lot at the 1/8, but looking over my shoulder and he is coming fast.

I ended up running a 12.0 to his 12.4. The people in the crowd were a bit different next time through the staging lanes.

This is the car, but not the view I had!

Funny how the general public sees a vehicle and MAGICLY thinks its the fastest thing on the planet!

"OOOH, a Ford GT, that thing runs like 10's man!!"
"Oh look, a truck. woooo. And its diesel powered. Shouldnt he be haulin hay or somethin?"

It sucks how the public thinks a vehicle is not fast until it sits on the ground, has a wing, dual exhaust, and a manual transmission.

But it sure is fun to prove em wrong!!

Must be pretty freakin sweet to smoke a car with a $150,000 price tag!!! Especially knowing that you spent a fraction of that to do it!!

I finallyget my first kill. We got off work early today and I caught my boss who has a 2004 Dodge 2wd 2500 w/ Edge Attitude and 4" exhaust. We took off from a 20mph roll (easier on my tranny, still not good though). He got the jump on me and I dropped a door but by 50mph I had reeled him in was finally starting to make the real power. He had given up by 70 mph and I was about 3 truck lengths in front.

my latest happened today while driving away from DiscountPowerParts,late 90's Camaro equipped with a V8 came up next to him at a light and i started boosting which got the "WTF you doing" look and i think it hit him somewhere between the 0-75MPH launch that it was happening to him a 2006 LBZ(the one i use to own)tuned with PPE was putting sevaral truck lengths on him..
i cheated i had the 350HP tune loaded..
