Problem With Ride After Lift

Hey guys,
I have a 08 Crew Cab z71 2500HD. I recently installed a 6 inch RCD lift on it with the 5100 Bistein shocks.
The ride is terrible compared to what it was before. What I dont understand about it is that RCD lifts have been known to ride better than stock. We installed one (same kit) on my buddies 07 classic and his rides great.
I have 35 inch pro comp xtreme mud terrains mounted on 20 inch wheels (60 psi in tires). I thought it might be because of the lower sidewall on the tires, but my buddy is running the same setup.
Am I missing out on something here? Have you guys had any of these problems with lifts?
My torsion bars are set where the lower arms are just resting on the rubber stops.
Im tired of feeling every little bump in the road. My back hates me because of all the jarring.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Resting the lower arms on the rubber stops could be part of it... I would also suggest useing less tire pressure for sure, I only run about 35-43psi in my tires because it softens up the ride...

Well, from what I understand, the arms are supposed to rest on the stops (even in stock form).
I cant go below 60 psi in my tires due to those stupid tire monitor sensors.
How far are your arms away from your bump stops?

my sensor doesnt turn on... but I have a friend with 24's and 37's, his truck is misserable when his tires are inflated so he rides with the light on... it does help a bit in my opinion and i would try that out first...

And mine is about 1.5-2" above, but let me ask this, If its resting on the rubber stop, how is the suspention suppose to move up when you hit a bump?

I think the rubber gives a little bit for the suspension. I went out and looked at my dads stock truck and its resting on the rubber stops.

Is there a way to bypass the sensors to where they will not throw a light?

Im pretty sure you have your tbars cranked out all the way which is the problem. You dont want them resting on the bump stops. Bump stops are their for when it bottoms out. Id try to put your arms between 1-2" of space. Or better yet. call Nick at nor cal truck. He is a suspension guru
