NorCalTruck: HELP needed, need to lower Rancho lift

My truck has bad cv and tie rod angles, I checked at the bolts are almost all the way out. Might have a couple threads left if that. I was told by an off road shop that the keys looked exactly like stock keys and that the spindles are 6in with a 4in drop for the diff etc.

I know some 1500 guys that would over clock their keys to get more lift. Is that possible or has it been done on 2500s as much? I did several searches using different wording but all I could find was about cranking.

Any ideas or ideas of how to lower the front end back down a bit? Should I try drop keys?

End goal is to drop the front to about 4in and possibly drop the rear to level it or if it sits about level leave the rear alone.

Ideas? Anyone?

yea I did, truck sits at about a 6in lift height but Im starting to wonder if someone had the 4in kit and wanted it higher. Just seems weird that aftermarket keys, even let all the way down almost to the stop, would still have such drastic angles.

I am guessing they installed aftermarket keys with the lift. Sure the keys look the same as stock but with out actually pulling them out I don't think it would be something you would be able to see really easily.
I haven't really heard much about clocking the keys on these trucks. I tried to do it on my 99 1500 but didn't have enough free space to do it.

Or try asking around/ looking on line. I am sure you can find used stock keys a lot cheaper then you can get new from the dealer.
